I CAN 23 Family Fun & Dog Walk

Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00-3:30 pm at the Donner Park - Shelter House

The Columbus Autism Network's annual fundraiser helps support family friendly/autism friendly activities throughout the year for families and caregivers. of individuals with autism. The funds also assist in funding scholarships through the Heritage Fund.

This year, we will be hosting our annual Autism walk at Donner Park Shelter House. THIS YEAR, we are adding a really fun twist - a dog walk and dog contests! You can bring your dog to the event AND register them in one or all of the contests!

  • Best Trick - Does your dog have a special trick to show off?

  • Best Dressed - Put your dog in a costume and let them strut their awesomeness

  • Best Behaved - Can your dog follow these simple commands: sit, stay, come, lie down, and leave it?

  • Obstacle course - how well can your dog navigate the obstacle course. Practice time will be offered before the competition

  • Online Photo Contest - post the best picture of your dog for our judges

Join us also for kid friendly activities like: bouncy houses, face painting, balloon animals, a photo booth, and adaptive bikes (provided by Assisted Independence). It will be a great day for everyone!

There are TWO ways you can participate in the fundraising efforts:

  1. Register your dog in a contest ($10 each or $40 for all five)

  2. Download one of the BINGO cards and start collecting. Bring your BINGO card with your donations the day of the event to turn in.
